MY STORY: I grew up in a small village in Normandy before moving to Caen for college where I studied Business Administration and Marketing. After graduation I flew to Dublin, I improved my English while working for Infosys and then as Digital Marketing Assistant for InterFAX. Now I live in Amsterdam and work as a Marketing Specialist for Het BoerenBed B.V as well as this I do some freelance work. I am open to new opportunities ;)

As Marketing Specialist, I am in charge of the French website unlitaupre.fr and the Swiss website wiesenbett.fr. I update the content, images and write the meta title and description as soon as we have new holiday locations and regions, new offers or promotions, using Wordpress CMS system and Yoast SEO plugin to make the website text SEO friendly. I also write the Paid search Ads for Adwords. I work closely with Affiliate marketing platforms and online distribution channels to improve our sales and grow our presence on the market. I am liaising with all the hosts in France and Belgium to market their location and product in the most accurate and faithful way. My responsibilities also include the sending of newsletters and press releases. In addition to that, I am in charge of the mailing sent to the UK and Dutch markets, I write the content and develop the brochure with Adobe Photoshop as well as this I make the contact list through our customer database. I measure the ROI of each marketing campaign using internal reports from our booking system and Google Analytics. Finally, I manage the Social Media accounts (Instagram & Facebook) of the Un Lit au Pré brand and I organise press trips for the french influencers, press and bloggers.

My responsibilities included the development marketing collateral for InterFax and ShieldQ (presentations, support templates for the sales team and brochures) in both French and English. I was in charge of the marketing campaigns (email campaigns and online Advertising via LinkedIn Ad). I measured and reported every week the effectiveness of each marketing campaign through comparing and contrasting the data provided by both Hubspot and Google Analytics and also with the data collected from surveys sent to our customers. I was also in charge of both Interfax and SchieldQ Social Media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) and the internal newsletter sent to all the employees and resellers.
I helped with the translation of the ShieldQ website in French and any other web content they needed to translate.
I was regulary doing some research to identify new potential markets, market shifts and about our competitors.

During my time here, I analyzed both quarterly and annual reports of companies reporting in French and in English. I updated the Bloomberg Terminal with the latest and most relevant financial data and made the correct transitions from French reports to English reports and in accordance with Bloomberg standardization. I performed a variety of ad-hoc tasks when necessary.

My duties was to create and diffuse the latest bank offers through a direct marketing campaign (flyers and Posters) in line with the banks corporate image. I was Working day-to-day with the 31 bank branches (local marketing) where I relayed the latest marketing directives and handled any related queries. I identified new potential partnerships with local associations (music associations, sport, etc.) through mailing, emailing and built on existing partnerships. I helped to organize events (Bowling tournaments) to reinforce the relationship with clients and I assisted in creating conferences about the wealth management. I used benchmarking to ensure our offers stayed competitive with the latest trends.

Project: Organisation of an historical event to revitalise the city of Caen
During that year, I worked with two classmates on the organisation of an event that focused on the life of William the Conqueror. Together, with the members of the city council, we decided to create a big medieval banquet inside the Château de Caen -this castle was built in 1060 by William the Conqueror-. We tried to organise the most realistic medieval banquet using sensory marketing techniques and doing thorough research.
The medieval banquet took place on the 26th of July 2016 and 4500 people attended, the event was a success and has been renewed every year since with an attendance of 12 800 in 2018. Find out more here and here.
